Manager Product Specialist - AmericasUSA or CanadaThe candidate will work in conjunction with our Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) across the Americas (USA, Latin America and Canada), and will spearhead the activities for Mirandaˇ¦s Product Specialist team in the Americas and be responsible to help drive the sales of all Mirandaˇ¦s products by properly and effectively deploying the Product Specialist Team throughout the territory. This position requires a proficiency in technical pre-sales activities to assist the RSMs in developing new business with existing and new accounts as well as the ability to properly prioritize and schedule the activities of the team. The Product Specialists provide support by answering technology questions asked by the prospective client and demonstrating the Miranda Interfacing Product Lines. As such, the candidate must be versed in technologies used in the broadcast industry. Tasks and responsibilities -Responsible for heading up the team of four Product Specialists (PS) -Ensuring that PS are planning demonstrations and trainings based on product and market priorities (as provided by VP US Sales) -Approval of PS trips -Organising training of the PS Team -Planning of new/changed responsibilities in this team as product range grows -In spite of the above, personally responsible for one product area (probably Master Control) -Responsible for supporting Sales Team in their efforts to sell product by -All aspects of planning demonstrations / training / road shows -Demonstrations / training -Attending key meetings -Preparation of quotations in conjunction with sales -Training of Sales and (occasionally) of customers too. -Being a link to Product management; both in proselytising the equipment and in feeding back experiences to internal staff Professional and personal qualifications -Solid understanding of Broadcast Video Industry -Superb presentation and demonstration skills. -Superior written and verbal communication skills -Great enthusiasm to work in a team environment with a high attention to detail and flexibility to work in fast-changing environment Academic requirements and technical knowledge -Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Professional Experience -Experience with broadcast video technology is a definite asset | |
